APF and Bagmati women's teams have won the Necos Cup Women's National T-20 Cricket Tournament with ease.
In the first match held in Birgunj on Tuesday, APF defeated Gandaki Pradesh by 7 wickets. APF, who won the toss and decided to field, bowled hard and bowled Gandaki out cheaply.
Batting in the stipulated 20 overs, Gandaki could only score 64 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Rekha Tamang and Seemana KC scored 10 runs each for Gandaki. Gandaki's batsmen could not play openly against APF's bowling. Rajmati Airi and Shabnam Rai took 2 wickets each for APF.
