Pramod Tamang from Kathmandu and Jenisha Waiba from Kathmandu were declared the best players in the men's category and women's categories, respectively, in the competition organized by the Provincial Sports Development Council Bagmati.

Kathmandu district has won the team champion trophy in the judo category of the 3rd Bagmati Provincial Games by winning 4 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Ramechhap came second with 4 gold and 4 bronze medals in the competition held at the Multipurpose Martial Arts Center (MMAC) in Nayabajar. Lalitpur, which came third, won 2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals. Rasuwa, Kavrepalanchok and Makawanpur won 1 gold each in the competition for 13 gold medals.
Pramod Tamang of Kathmandu and Jenisha Waiba of Kathmandu were declared the best players in the men's category and Jenisha in the women's category in the competition organized by the Provincial Sports Development Council Bagmati. Pramod won the gold in the under-73 kg category and Jenisha won the under-48 kg category. Pramod is a player training at Palm Judo Club and Jenisha is a player training at MMAC. The best players each received a prize of Rs 20,000.
The winners were awarded by Nepal Judo Association President Deepak Harsh Vajracharya, Kathmandu District Sports Development Committee President Bhai Krishna Balami and others.
Competition coordinator Dharma Kumar Shrestha said that 84 players competed in 13 different events in the two competitions. The top three players in each event were awarded Rs 5,000, Rs 4,000 and Rs 3,000 each respectively.
