Three women's teams and three men's teams participated in the competition, which was organized by the Bagmati Province Hockey Association in collaboration with the Nepal Olympic Committee.

An inter-club hockey match was held in Bhaktapur on the occasion of International Olympic Day (June 23).

The competition, organized by the Nepal Olympic Committee and the Bagmati Province Hockey Association, involved 3 teams in women and 3 teams in men.

In the women's category, GES Hockey Club 'B' performed well and emerged as the winner, while the A team of the same club became the runner-up. Chaturananda Rajvaidya of the Nepal Olympic Committee said that the Olympic movement promotes the spirit of friendship, respect and excellence through sports.

Nepal Hockey Association General Secretary Subarna Shrestha said that International Olympic Day is an important opportunity to unite players, coaches and sports enthusiasts. She pointed out the need to continuously conduct such competitions at school and club levels for the development of hockey.
