Bharatpur defeated Birgunj Metropolitan City by 74 runs and Pokhara defeated Biratnagar Metropolitan City by 9 wickets at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
Bharatpur, who won the toss, scored 167 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Gautam KC batted aggressively and scored an unbeaten 43 runs in just 22 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. Openers Pawan Thapa 31, Roshan Jha 21 and Prateek Shrestha were out for 17 runs. Birgunj's Vishal Patel and Pawan Saraf took 2-2 wickets and Ashik Baitha and Ranjit Kumar took 1-1 wickets.
In reply, Birgunj was all out for 93 runs in just 17.3 overs. Santosh Karki scored 24, Mayan Yadav 18, Araniko Yadav 17 and Vishal Patel scored 10 runs. Subhash Khatri of Bharatpur took 3 wickets for 28 runs in 4 overs, while Pratik and Player of the Match Gautam took 2 wickets each.
In the next match, Pokhara defeated Biratnagar Metropolitan City by a huge margin of 9 wickets. After winning the toss, Biratnagar, who elected to bat first, could only score 99 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Except for opener Krish Sharma's unbeaten 51 runs in 33 balls and Kritik Kamat's 19 runs, no other team could score runs in double figures. Pokhara's Bipin Khatri became the Player of the Match by taking 4 wickets for 2 runs in 4 overs, including 1 maiden. Subhash Bhandari and Krishna Poudel took 2 wickets each and Sudeep Aryal took 1 wicket.
Pokhara achieved the target in 10.4 overs. Opener Deepak Dumre scored an unbeaten 54 off 30 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes, while Arjun Kumal scored an unbeaten 42 off 31 balls. Bipin Mahato took only 1 wicket from Biratnagar.
