The Junior Tennis Tournament organized on the occasion of International Olympic Day 2026 has concluded. Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) Vice President Jyoti Rana distributed official certificates of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and sports equipment to Nitmi Kunwar and all other participating child players.

The tournament was held in Mandikhatar, Kathmandu. A total of 36 children participated in the special sports program organized in coordination with the Kathmandu District Tennis Association. Junior player Nitmi Kunwar succeeded in winning the tournament by performing excellently in the highly competitive game.

Along with the chief guest Rana, Kathmandu District Tennis Association President Praveen Baidya, former president Manoj Rana and former national player Mallika Rana, and Rajendra Bhandari as the promoter awarded the winning players.
