Subash Tamang has won the Surya Nepal Premier Golf Championship title in a play-off. Subash defeated Bhuvan Nagarkoti and amateur Sadbhav Acharya in the first hole of the play-off to become the champion. He won a prize of Rs 320,000.

Subash, Bhuvan and Sadbhav finished the 72-hole match at 18-under 270. With this, the match was decided by the play-off. In the play-off, Subash played a par, while Bhuvan and Sadbhav both missed their pars. Bhuvan came second. He received a prize of Rs 206,000.

Subash played a 3-under 69 on Friday. He played an even-par 36 on the front nine, hitting a birdie on the seventh hole against a bogey on the third hole. He finished at 3-under 33 with three birdies from the 11th to the 13th holes.

Bhuvan finished the match at 4-under 68. He played a bogey on the second hole and birdied the third, fourth, sixth, seventh and ninth holes. He finished the front nine at 4-under 32. He played a double bogey on the 11th and 17th holes to make an even-par 36.

Sadbhav made a score card of 6-under 66 of the day. He played both the front and back nine at 3-under 33. He played birdies on the third, sixth, ninth, 12th, 16th and 18th holes.
