Subash Tamang has won the Surya Nepal Premier Golf Championship title in a play-off. Subash defeated Bhuvan Nagarkoti and amateur Sadbhav Acharya in the first hole of the play-off to become the champion. He won a prize of Rs 320,000.

Subash played a 3-under 69 on Friday. He played an even-par 36 on the front nine, hitting a birdie on the seventh hole against a bogey on the third hole. He finished at 3-under 33 with three birdies from the 11th to the 13th holes.
Bhuvan finished the match at 4-under 68. He played a bogey on the second hole and birdied the third, fourth, sixth, seventh and ninth holes. He finished the front nine at 4-under 32. He played a double bogey on the 11th and 17th holes to make an even-par 36.
Sadbhav made a score card of 6-under 66 of the day. He played both the front and back nine at 3-under 33. He played birdies on the third, sixth, ninth, 12th, 16th and 18th holes. Sadbhav, who reached the playoff with this excellent score, became the winner of the amateur category. He defeated Rahul Vishwakarma by 8 strokes.
Shukra Bahadur Rai, who played in the final group, finished fourth overall with a score of 15-under 273. He finished third in the pro category with a score of 3-under 79 and won 162,000.
