Nepali taekwondo player Jit Bahadur Bote has won a silver medal in the WT President's Cup Gold Coast (G-3) Open Taekwondo. He won silver in the men's under-40 individual poomsae.

In the same event held in Gold Coast, Australia, 13th South Asian Games (SAG) gold medalist Kamal Shrestha won bronze. In the men's under-30 team poomsae, Manoj Shrestha, Shishir Shrestha and Paras Bhandari won bronze.

Nepal's international judging duo Ashok Khadka and Bablu Siwakoti served as judges in the competition.
