Panchpokhari, who batted after losing the toss at the Lower Mulpani Cricket Ground, scored 157 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Captain Sarthak Dhital scored 41 and Buddhiman Pakhrin added 33 runs. Pujan Dhital remained unbeaten on 26 runs in 10 balls. Himalayan captain Pemba Tamang took 3 wickets.
Himalayan was all out for 124 runs in 19 overs. Karma Tamang scored 34 and Pasang Tamang scored 20 runs. Panchpokhari's Vijay Kumar Dhital took 3 wickets for just 9 runs in 4 overs, while Manoj Khadka and Pratik took 2 wickets each.
In the second semi-final, Helambu, who won the toss and elected to bat, scored 157 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs. Sachin Lekhak played an excellent innings of 96 runs unbeaten in 64 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes. Shivam Tiwari scored 37 runs unbeaten in 19 balls. Melamchi was bowled out for 130 runs in 19 overs. Babin Bohra scored 47, Abhishek Chaulagain scored 33 and Subash Khatri scored 26 runs. Helambu's Shivam took 5 wickets for the loss of 19 runs in 4 overs and captain Vivek Tamang took 3 wickets.
Sachin Lekhak was declared the Player of the Match and received a cash prize of Rs. 1,000. Former president of Panchpokhari Cricket Club and currently in Australia, Utsav Dhital, has sponsored the Player of the Match. The final between Panchpokhari and Helambu will be held on Tuesday.
