In the men's category, Sanyog Kapali came first, Rubin Maharjan came second, and Gananjay Dahal came third. In the women's category, Nabita Shrestha came first, Ivana Thapa came second, and Yongi Poudel came third and were selected for Japan.
The top 8-8 players in the men's/women's singles category of the 42nd National Table Tennis Competition held in Jestha competed in the selection competition.
At the conclusion, the All Nepal Table Tennis Association felicitated and honored the newly appointed executive member of the National Sports Council and former national table tennis player Sikka Suwal Shrestha. She was elected as a board member just two days ago.
