Budhanilkantha reached the finals in the women's section of the tournament being held at the covered hall of the host Nakhipot Youth Club. Budhanilkantha defeated Training Ground 55-47 with a score of 27 by Urja Rana Magar. Budhanilkantha will play against Grandey Stars for the title. Grandey had already secured a place in the finals by defeating Ballers 61-22 on Thursday. The final will be held on Saturday.
The main sponsorship of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward 14 and the technical support of Nepal Basketball Association will be given to the winner of the men's competition, which will receive a cash prize of Rs 100,000 and the runner-up will receive Rs 50,000. The winner of the women's competition will receive Rs 50,000 and the runner-up will receive Rs 25,000.
The 'Most Valuable Player' of the men's competition will receive a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000 for the women's competition.
