Madhesh Pradesh has maintained its unbeaten run in the ongoing U-19 Women's T-20 National Cricket Tournament in Birendranagar and has climbed to the top of the points table. Gandaki has put a complete stop to Sudurpaschim's victory journey after winning three consecutive matches, while the home team Karnali has suffered its third consecutive defeat.

Madhesh defeated Bagmati by 29 runs in the match held on Tuesday to register its third consecutive win. Batting first, Madhesh scored 140 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Opener Sana Parbin played a brilliant innings of 68 runs with 11 fours in 60 balls. Bhumi Singh and Elisha Yadav contributed 21 runs each.

Chasing a target of 141 runs, Sevika Kumari Yadav and Laxmi Maya Rumba Limbu could not give the team a victory. Madhesh's Pratima Sah was named the player of the match by taking 3 wickets. Meanwhile, Gandaki defeated Sudurpaschim by 4 wickets at Kalungchowk ground to win an important victory in the tournament. After winning the toss and inviting Sudur to bat, Gandaki bowled brilliantly and bundled out Sudur for 87 runs in 19.5 overs.

Gandaki's Rachana Chaudhary took 5 wickets for 6 runs with 2 maidens in 4 overs. Ayushma Chapagain added 4 wickets. Chasing a target of 88 runs, Rachana scored 27 runs while Jyotsina Marasini and Serina Thapa added 17-17 runs each. Sudurpaschim's batting lineup, which looked aggressive in the previous match, could not work this time. Sneha Mahara and Karuna Bista scored 10-10 runs each, but the other batters could not touch double figures.

In the next match on Tuesday, Karnali lost to Koshi by 24 runs. Koshi, who batted after winning the toss, scored 125 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
