Milan Kulung and Anjuli Gurung have won the Langtang Trail Run-2026 title in the men's category and Anjuli Gurung in the women's category.

Kulung and Gurung won the title in the 32-kilometer race held on Saturday from Kyanjen Gumba to Syafrubensi under Gosainkunda Rural Municipality of Rasuwa. Milan Kulung won the first place in the men's category by completing the race in 2 hours 16 minutes 43 seconds. Dhir Bahadur Budha came in second place (2 hours 18 minutes 47 seconds) and Bishal Rai came in third place, the Rasuwa-Nuwakot Tourism Society said in a press release. Gopal Tamang came in fourth place and Chandra Rawat came in fifth place.

Anjuli Gurung won the first place in the women's category by completing the race in 4 hours 45 minutes 03 seconds. Suraksha Tamang came in second place. Austrian athlete Anna Lena Furtner came in third place. Geeta Maharjan (5 hours 37 minutes 28 seconds) and Sonu Poudel (6 hours 16 minutes 40 seconds) were in fourth place and fifth place respectively.

Langtang Trail Run Coordinator Gaganraj Neupan said that the trail run was organized with the aim of promoting the natural beauty of the Langtang region and developing adventure tourism.  106 athletes participated in the competition, which was organized with the support of the Bagmati Province Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Of these, 18 were women and 88 were men.
