The 21st Annapurna Chess Championship has started on Friday. More than 500 players are participating in the tournament held at the Annapurna School in Kantipath. On the first day, a total of 4 events including U-9 and U-11 age groups were held.

On Saturday, there will be 4 group selection matches including U-13 and above 13 years. The final round of all groups will be held on Sunday.

The Women's National Championship and the National Championship for age groups have also been organized under Annapurna Chess.
