Navodit and Kathmandu Valley School have reached the quarterfinals of the second Tejaswi Cup Inter-School Basketball for boys.

Navodit defeated JB School by a score of 50-46 in the competition organized by Tejaswi Academy. Navodit's combination Hamal and Aadesh Bagale scored 16-16. With 12 points from Rian Baniya, Kathmandu Valley defeated Canvas Vasant Ritu by 37-26.

In the boys' division, Valley Public defeated Bagmati by 45-35, Newton defeated Scholars Home by 48-37, Golden Peak defeated defending champion Angels Heart by 44-35, Gandaki defeated Laligurans National Academy by 38-37, Marvelous defeated White Haven by 42-32 and TIA defeated Sanskriti Shiksha Sadan by 28-20 to secure a place in the quarterfinals. Ashok Bick of Valley Public scored 17, Ashish Rai of Newton scored 16, Prism KC of Golden Peak scored 12, Tapendra Od of Gandaki scored 20, Navin Karki of Marvelous scored 9 and Divas Joshi of TIA scored 10.

In the quarterfinals, Navodit will compete against TIA, Golden Peak against Kathmandu Valley, Newton against Valley Public and Gandaki against Marvelous.

The girls' quarterfinal equation has been decided. The quarterfinals will be between EBA and Sanskriti Shiksha Sadan, KVKSS and Belmont, Valley Public and Bagmati and Ferryland against Tejaswi 'A'.
