Sanfida Nongram scored the only goal for India in the 58th minute. Earlier, Bangladesh had defeated Nepal 2-1 in the first semi-final. The final will be held on Saturday and will be a repeat of the 2016 final.
That edition was also held in Siliguri, India, and India emerged champions. Bangladesh, on the other hand, are the winners of the last two editions and are playing their third consecutive final. India, on the other hand, are playing their first final since 2019.
