In the boys' competition held at the Covered Hall in Kirtipur, Bageshwori Secondary School came second and Mangal Secondary School came third. In the girls' competition, Asian Galaxy came second and Madan Smarak Secondary School came third.

Kumudini Kunj and Mangal Mavi have won the second valley-wide inter-school Kho Kho competition. Kumudini Kunj became the champion in the boys' and Mangal Mavi became the champion in the girls' category.
Bageshwori came second and Mangal Mavi came third in the boys' category of the competition held at the Covered Hall in Kirtipur. Asian Galaxy came second and Madan Smarak Mavi came third in the girls' category.
Supreme Tamang of Kumudini was adjudged the best runner and Dipendra Baduwal of Bageshwori the best attacker in the boys' category of the competition organized by Kirtipur Kho Kho Academy and sponsored by Kirtipur Municipality Ward 2. Ai Lama of Asian Galaxy was adjudged the best runner and Mangal's Drishti Maharjan the best attacker in the girls' category.
The winners were awarded by Kirtipur Municipality Mayor Krishnaman Dangol, Tribhuvan University Sports Science Department member Prof. Dr. Ramkrishna Maharjan and others. According to competition coordinator Vicky Maharjan, 16-16 boy/girl teams competed in the three-day competition.
