In the 7th National Fencing Championship on Sunday, APF emerged as the champion in the senior women's foil team event and Tribhuvan Army emerged as the champion in the men's foil team event.

In the 7th National Fencing Championship, APF and Tribhuvan Army teams emerged champions in the senior women's foil team event on Sunday.
The APF team of Anita Adhikari, Urmila Lama, Urmila Majhi and Aisa Shrestha won the gold medal in the women's foil team event held at the Taekwondo Academy hall in Satdobato. Gandaki, which included Nischal Magar, Subina Magar, Samriddhi Magar and Ayuska Pokharel, won the silver medal. Sudurpaschim won the bronze medal. Ishara Thapa, Laxmi Chaudhary and Pooja Kunwar competed from the Sudur team.
Anup Bhandari, Narendra Dhami, Bhuvan Malik and Bir Singh Shahi played for the Army team that won the gold in the senior men's foil team event. Gandaki team won the silver medal. Bagmati and Sudurpaschim won the joint third place.
APF also won the gold medal in the senior women's EP team event. Tulsa Budhathoki, Maya Chaudhary, Anita Karki and Januka Syangtan won gold for APF. Tribhuvan Army Club came second and Sudurpaschim and Gandaki Province jointly came third.
Army became the champion in the senior men's EP team event. Purnaraj Giri, Min Karki, Hark Khadka and Suraj Singh made Army the winner. Koshi Province became the runner-up in the event. APF and Sudurpaschim won third place.
In the senior men's EP, Soyab Shrestha of Bagmati and Januka Syangtan of APF won gold in the women's EP, and Gyanendra Timalsina of APF and Anita Adhikari of APF won gold in the foil. In the competition organized by the Nepal Fencing Association, Advisor to the Minister of Education and Sports Siddhi Byanjanakar, Chairman of Kamanapa Ward 22 Chinikaji Maharjan, Chairman of the National and International Players Association Deepak Shrestha, Chairman of the Fencing Association Sunil Kumar Shrestha, General Secretary Sujan Lal Shrestha and others presented awards to the winners.
