In the 7th National Fencing Championship, APF and Tribhuvan Army teams emerged champions in the senior women's foil team event on Sunday.

The APF team of Anita Adhikari, Urmila Lama, Urmila Majhi and Aisa Shrestha won the gold medal in the women's foil team event held at the Taekwondo Academy hall in Satdobato. Gandaki, which included Nischal Magar, Subina Magar, Samriddhi Magar and Ayuska Pokharel, won the silver medal. Sudurpaschim won the bronze medal. Ishara Thapa, Laxmi Chaudhary and Pooja Kunwar competed from the Sudur team.

In the senior men's EP, Soyab Shrestha of Bagmati and Januka Syangtan of APF won gold in the women's EP, and Gyanendra Timalsina of APF and Anita Adhikari of APF won gold in the foil. In the competition organized by the Nepal Fencing Association, Advisor to the Minister of Education and Sports Siddhi Byanjanakar, Chairman of Kamanapa Ward 22 Chinikaji Maharjan, Chairman of the National and International Players Association Deepak Shrestha, Chairman of the Fencing Association Sunil Kumar Shrestha, General Secretary Sujan Lal Shrestha and others presented awards to the winners.
