Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca defeated Novak Djokovic in the third round of the French Open on Saturday. The defeat ended the Serbian's dream of winning a record 25th Grand Slam title.

Fonseca, who was just 19 years old, came from two sets down to defeat the 39-year-old Djokovic 4-6, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, 7-5. The match lasted four hours and 53 minutes. With the win, Fonseca reached the last 16 of a Grand Slam for the first time.

On the women's side, Iga Swatik also reached the last 16 of the tournament. She defeated Magda Linette 6-4, 6-4.
