Gujarat Titans on Friday booked their place in the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. They comfortably defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in Qualifier-2 in Chandigarh.

Gujarat will now face defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final on Sunday. Chasing a target of 215 runs to win, Gujarat managed to score 219 runs in 18.4 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Opener and captain Shubman Gill played a century innings of 104 runs. He faced only 53 balls and hit 15 fours and three sixes. Another opener Sai Sudarshan scored 58 runs in 32 balls.

They shared a 167-run partnership for the first wicket and this was the basis for the victory. Before that, Rajasthan, who batted first, had scored 214 runs for six wickets.

Opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi failed to score a century for the second consecutive match. He was dismissed for 96 runs. Similarly, Ravindra Jadeja contributed 45 runs.
