Kazakhstan has made it to the final of the Kava Women's Volleyball Championship.

Kazakhstan defeated India 3-0 in straight sets in the first semi-final recently held at the Rakhep Covered Hall in Tripureshwor.

Former champion India had only beaten the opposition in the first set. But Kazakhstan, led by Natalya Khazova, gave the Indian players no chance in the last two sets. Kazakhstan reached the final by winning the sets 25-21, 25-21, 25-14.

Kazakhstan will face the winner of the second semi-final between Iran and Nepal today in the final.
