Maldives won a consolation win in the other match of the day. In the match for seventh place, Maldives defeated Bangladesh 3-1. After losing the first set 25-27, Maldives then regained its rhythm. Maldives won the set 25-11, 25-17, 25-12. Maldives is seventh in the eight-team competition and Bangladesh, who lost all their matches, is at the bottom.

Now the semi-final match will be held on Thursday. The semi-finals will feature India and Kazakhstan, and Nepal and Iran.
