Kathmandu Metropolitan City is the main sponsor of the Nepal Aquatic Swimming Competition organized by the Nepal Swimming Association.
In the presence of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Acting Mayor Sunita Dangol, Association President Jagatman Shrestha and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Social Development Department Department Chief Samiksha Niraula signed the agreement on Wednesday.
Along with the main sponsorship, the competition will be named Nepal Aquatic Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Cup Swimming Competition. The third edition of the competition will be held at Satdobato Swimming Pool on 23-24 Jestha.
Gangalal Gole, Secretary of the organizing association, said that 300 players will participate in the competition, which includes 37 different events. 5,000 prizes will be awarded for each national record. The best male/female players will receive 25,000 each.
