Sharda Municipality has won the title of the third municipal-level and Sharda Mayor's Cup T-20 cricket tournament.
Sharda won the title by defeating Bagchaur Municipality in the final held on Sunday at the Trij Secondary School playground in Sharda-2 Luhaping.
Bagchaur, who won the toss and elected to bat, scored 109 runs in 18.5 overs, losing all their wickets. Sharda achieved the winning target of 110 runs in 14.5 overs, losing five wickets.
Along with the title, Sharda won a cash prize of Rs 100,000 and the runner-up Bagchaur won Rs 50,000, said District Cricket Association Salyan President Sabin Hamal.
