Kavya has won the first Angels Heart National School Cup Junior U-16 Students Futsal Tournament.
Kavya defeated Kathmandu Lok Shikshan School 2-0 in the final held at the Angels Sports and Recreation Center on Sunday.
Angels Heart Secondary School came third in the tournament organized by Angels Heart National School. Angels Heart Secondary School defeated Samriddhi 4-2.
Lok Shikshan's Vijesh Waiba was named the best player, Kavya's Aaradhya Regmi was named the best goalkeeper, Samriddhi's Saman Maharjan was named the emerging player, and Kavya's Biplop Darlami was named the highest scorer. Samriddhi was declared the emerging team.
The winners were awarded by Junior Football Academy founder and head coach Prajwal Pratap Chhetri, organizer Angels Heart President Lil Bahadur Pun, organizer Angels Heart Principal Tak Bahadur Thapa, and others. 8 teams competed in the five-a-side one-day tournament on a knockout basis.
