Golfer Bhuvan Nagarkoti topped the third day of the Surya Nepal Challenge on Thursday with an overall score of 11-under 193.

He finished 3-under 65 on Thursday, beating Shukra Bahadur Rai by 3 strokes. Shukra finished second with an overall score of 8-under 196 with an even-par 68. Both were joint leaders the previous day.

Nepal number one Neeraj Tamang and Dhan Bahadur Thapa finished joint third with an overall score of 7-under 197. Neeraj shot a best score of 6-under 62. Dhan finished the day with a 2-under 66.

Amateur Rahul Bishwakarma and pro golfers Rame Magar and Dinesh Prajapati finished joint fifth with an overall score of 5-under 199. Rahul carded 3-under 65 while Rame and Dinesh carded 2-under 66.

Tanka Bahadur Karki rose to eighth place with an overall score of 4-under 200. Ravi Khadka is in ninth place with an overall score of 2-under 202. He scored a score of 2-under 66. Bhuwan Kumar Rokka, who played 2-over 70, finished in tenth place with an overall score of 1-under 203.

Rahul, who was in fifth place overall, is at the top of the amateur standings. He is five strokes behind Swapnil Bhattarai. He played an even-par 204 overall and finished with a 1-over 69 on Thursday. Kavi Thapa, who played a 1-under 67 on the third day, is in third place with a 4-over 208 overall.

Bhuwan, who had a solo lead at the top, birdied the first, fourth and fifth holes to finish the front nine at 2-under 32 before making a bogey on the eighth hole. After saving shots on the 10th and 11th holes, he bogeyed the back nine at 1-under 33 with a bogey on the 16th hole.

Shukra completed both the front and back nine at even par 34. He saved shots on the first and fourth holes but faced bogeys on the third and sixth holes. He birdied the 13th hole and bogeyed the 16th hole.

Neeraj played a bogey-free front nine and hit four birdies. Birdies on the first, second, fourth and eighth holes completed the front nine at 4-under 30. After birdies on the 10th, 11th and 13th holes, he wasted a shot on the 16th hole. He finished the back nine at 2-under 32.  

Dhan completed the front and back nine at 1-under 33. He made a bogey on the third hole but birdied the fourth and eighth holes. After this, he saved shots on the 14th and 15th holes but faced bogey on the 16th hole.
