Western, who were invited to bat after losing the toss at the Siddhartha Cricket Ground in Bhairahawa, scored 215 runs in 41 overs and 3 balls in the scheduled 50-over match. Prajwal Thapa scored 46, Ranjit Khatri scored 41, Dipesh Rokka scored 40, Sumit Newar scored 35, Mirnal Gurung scored 15 and Kalam Ali Musalman scored 11 runs. In bowling, Sagar Bhandari, Mausam Dhakal and Ashutosh Pandey of Nepathya Tilottama took 3 wickets each.
In reply, Nepathya Tilottama lost all his wickets in 25 overs and scored only 113 runs. Western's Sikh Thapa took 4 wickets, Kalam Ali Musalman took 3 wickets, Abhishesh Gautam took 2 wickets and Dev Khanal took 1 wicket.
