The fourth edition of the Nepal Super League (NSL) is set to begin from Bhadra. The organizer Nepal Sports and Events Management announced on Sunday that the competition will be held from Bhadra 20.

From this edition, the competition will be held on a double round-robin basis and the matches will be played on a ‘home and away’ basis. Similarly, the number of participating teams in the competition will be increased from ten to 12. Accordingly, the participating teams will be able to play at their home ground.

In the last edition, seven teams participated and Lalitpur City FC is the two-time defending champion. Lalitpur defeated Pokhara Thunders in the final held at Dasharath Stadium. In the first edition of the competition, seven teams participated and Kathmandu Rangers were the winners. In the second edition, the number of participants increased to nine.
