Dang has won the title by winning 56 medals, including 27 gold, 16 silver and 12 bronze, in the Lumbini Province-level President's Running Shield Competition. Banke won 35 medals, including 10 gold, 12 silver and 13 bronze, and Rupandehi won third place by winning 27 medals, including 10 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze.
Lumbini Province Youth and Sports Minister Santosh Pandey and Lumbini Province Sports Council Member Secretary Tirandaj Gautam presented certificates, medals and trophies to the winners.
Players from 12 districts of Lumbini participated in the competition, which began on 16th Jestha. Volleyball, kabaddi, wushu, taekwondo and athletics were conducted in the competition. The games were held at Ghorahi and Beljhundi stadiums.
