The National Sports Council on Friday lifted the suspension of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). Earlier, the council had suspended ANFA for three months on Chaitra 11.
A meeting held between Education and Sports Minister Sasmit Pokharel, Council Member Secretary Ramcharitra Mehta, ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai and Spokesperson Suresh Shah decided to withdraw the suspension decision.
According to Spokesperson Suresh Shah, the suspension decision has been withdrawn unconditionally. The council decided to suspend ANFA in view of the proposed elections of Chaitra 13.
ANFA Treasurer Ravindra Joshi and Education and Sports Minister's Advisor Siddhi Byanjanakar were also present in the meeting.
