In the first match held on Friday, Katahari performed brilliantly by defeating Sundarharaicha Municipality of Morang by 50 runs. Batting first after winning the toss, Katahari scored 133 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the match that was shortened to 14 overs due to a damp pitch.
For Katahari, Love Kamat batted explosively and scored 46 runs in 31 balls. He hit 5 fours and 1 six in his unbeaten innings. Similarly, Rabindra Yadav contributed 36 runs in 27 balls. Deepu Bhujel remained unbeaten on 15 runs. Among the bowlers of Sundarharaicha, Anil Lamichhane took 3 wickets. In reply, Sundarharaicha, chasing a target of 134 runs, was bundled out for 83 runs after losing all their wickets in 13 overs.
