The second open judo competition organized by Champions Judo Academy is scheduled to be held on 23 Jestha.
The competition will be held in 2 categories for men and women, according to the organizing academy's director Saroj Maharjan. Men will compete in the under-73 kg and under-100 kg weight groups. Women will compete in the under-57 kg and under-78 kg categories.
The winner of each event will receive 5,000, the second 3,000, and the third 2,000 along with a gift hamper. Director Maharjan said that efforts are also being made to invite foreign players to participate in the competition.
The one-day competition will be held at the Multi-Purpose Martial Arts Center (MMAC) hall in Khushibu.
