Western Cricket Club has won the ‘A’ Division match of the ‘Panchakanya Rupandehi Super League’ being held in Bhairahawa organized by the Rupandehi Cricket Association. They defeated Buddha Cricket Club by 9 wickets and won easily.

Buddha, who came into bat after winning the toss at the Siddhartha Cricket Ground in Bhairahawa, scored a total of 77 runs in 26 overs and 5 balls in the scheduled 50-over match. Western’s Abhishesh Gautam took 4 wickets, Sushib Thapa took 3 wickets and Sandesh Thapa and Kalam Musalman took 1 wicket each to stop them cheaply.

Buddha’s Mithlesh Yadav and Dilsad Ali scored 15 runs each and Gautam KC scored 10 runs. The other batsmen could not score runs in double figures.

In reply, Western scored 79 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 8 overs and 4 balls and won easily. For them, Prajwal Thapa scored an unbeaten 47 and Ranjit Khadka scored an unbeaten 28. 

Buddha's Bipin Sharma took 1 wicket.  Abhishesh Gautam was named Player of the Match in the match and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1,200.
