Butwal Rhinos, who were invited to bat after winning the toss, could only score 72 runs in 22 overs, losing all their wickets. To stop them cheaply, Lumbini Khukuri's Baitullah Khan bowled 9 overs and took 9 important wickets, including 2 maidens, for 34 runs. Ajay Chauhan managed to take 1 wicket. Khan was named 'Player of the Match'. Butwal Rhinos' Uttam Thapa Magar scored 17 and Sushant Shakya scored 10, but no other batsman could reach double figures.
