Lisnu Club Rupandehi has won the fourth New Youth Union Cup football tournament held in Tansen. Lisnu won the title by defeating Devdaha Bayaz of Rupandehi 7-6 in a try-breaker in the final held on Saturday. After both teams failed to score a goal in the stipulated time, they had to resort to a try-breaker. 

Lisnu Youth Club of Rupandehi's goalkeeper Bishal Sunar became the finalist of the match. The winner of the tournament received Rs 155,555, while the runner-up received Rs 111,111 in cash, trophies, certificates, and medals. The mayor of Tansen Municipality, Santosh Lal Shrestha, and the chairman of the organizer, New Youth Union, Tam Bahadur Kumal, presented the trophy. 

Best player Lisnu goalkeeper Bishal Sunar received 8 thousand, best goalkeeper Bishal KC from Devdaha, emerging player Angel Darlami from New Youth Union Club Palpa, top scorer Manobhav Club Rupandehi's Avesh Shahi, best defender Bishal Shahi from Lisnu received 5 thousand each in cash and a token of love. 

Mayor of Tansen Municipality Santosh Lal Shrestha said that the municipality has invested heavily in the field of sports. He said that the municipality is also supporting competitions including the Mayor's Cup. 

12 clubs from Palpa, Rupandehi, and Nawalparasi participated in the competition that started on April 15.
