Opener Finn Allen's brilliant century helped Kolkata Knight Riders beat Delhi Capitals by eight wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Friday. Kolkata cruised to an easy win with 34 balls to spare.

Batting first, Delhi scored 142 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Pathum Nissanka scored 50 runs in 29 balls. In reply, Kolkata scored 147 runs for the loss of two wickets in 14.2 overs.

Finn, while scoring his first IPL century, remained unbeaten on 100 runs in just 47 balls. He hit five fours and ten sixes.

After this win, Kolkata has nine points and is in seventh place. This is only three points away from the top four. Delhi, on the other hand, remained in eighth place with eight points.
