The book, written by Lumbini Football Academy director Samir Oli, was released on Thursday at the Lumbini Football Academy playground in Ukhuwari, Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-17.
The book was jointly released by the outgoing central president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bipul Pokharel, central secretary of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Sabin Priyasan, Dang branch president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Santosh Subedi, central member of the Nepal Cricket Association and president of the Dang District Cricket Association, Pradeep Majgaiya, president of the Nawalpur Football Academy, Deepak Pun, president of the Badhara Football Club, Irak Gharti, and others.
Speaking at the program, Bipul Pokharel said that the book would be useful for children, players and sports journalists interested in football. He expressed the view that the book would help in studying football in depth and increasing knowledge about the game.
