Chitlang FC, Kathmandu has entered the final of the Bagmati Gold Cup. Chitlang reached the final of the Gold Cup by defeating Simara's Nawa Janajagruti Club 5-1 in the second semi-final match held at the Shahid Smriti Stadium in Bagmati Rural Municipality on Thursday.  

For Chitlang, foreign player Solomon King scored in the 43rd and 87th minutes of the game, Aaron Thapa scored in the 78th and 81st minutes, and Sameer Tamang scored in the 79th minute. For Jana Jagruti, Vikram Lama scored a goal in the 83rd minute. Chitlang's Solomon was declared the Player of the Match. He received Rs 10,000. 

Chitlang had entered the quarter-finals by defeating APF, and entered the semi-finals by defeating Machhindra in the quarter-finals. 

Chitlang will now face Sarlahi's Bagmati Youth Club for the title on Saturday. Bagmati has already entered the final by defeating Friends Club in the first semi-final on Wednesday.

The winner of the tournament will receive Rs 1 million and the runner-up Rs 5 million. The best player of the tournament will receive Rs 101,000 and the best players in each category will receive Rs 25,000-25,000.
