The Nepal Run 5K Challenge is being organized by the Athletics Family this week. The race, which will be held on Saturday, April 26, is being organized by Changunarayan Municipality in Changunarayan itself. The organizers say that more than 200 people will participate in the race.

The race includes men's and women's open and men's veteran categories. Similarly, there will be a 3-kilometer race for men and women under 18 years of age, and a 3-kilometer race for women's veterans. The first place winner in the men's and women's categories will win 12,000 rupees, the second place 8,000 rupees, and the third place 4,000 rupees.

The total budget of the competition is 766,000 rupees. The race will start and end at the Changunarayan Municipality building. At a press conference organized on Wednesday to provide information about the competition, Athletics Family Chairman Rajan Khatri said that its aim is to produce emerging athletes.
