On April 20, the match between the two teams was suspended in the 37th minute due to bad weather at the Kohalpur Football Stadium in Kohalpur-2. Nigeria was leading 1-0 in the match that was suspended due to rain. Just Zone's jersey number 9 Hamzat Dimola scored a goal in the 29th minute. Just Zone won the match on Monday morning by a margin of 4-2 goals.
Just Zone's jersey number 10 Abdulaziz scored a goal in the 47th minute of the second half to give the team a 2-0 lead. In the 49th minute, Royal Football Club Karnali's jersey number 7 Sandeep Deuba scored a goal in return. Immediately in the 52nd minute, Nigeria's jersey number 29 Owalahi Ofiz made the goal difference 3-1.

In the opening match of the first day of the Gold Cup, Kohalpur Racing Sahara Club defeated Panchkoshi Youth Club Sudurpaschim by a margin of 2-1.
The tournament is being hosted by the organizers Kohalpur Racing Sahara Club, Panchkoshi Youth Club, Laligurans Association Club, Satdobato Youth Club, Just Zone FC (Nigeria), Royal Football Club (Karnali), Rising Star Club (Nawalparasi) and Nepal Police Club.
The winner of the competition, which will be held until 26th Baisakh, will receive a cash prize of eight lakh rupees and the runner-up will receive four lakh rupees. The competition is being held at the proposed Kohalpur Football Stadium in Kohalpur-2.
