Tribhuvan Army Club has reached the final of the Women's Gold Cup Football Tournament being held in Pokhara. The Army defeated Sankata Club 4-2 on Saturday in the tournament organized by RS Pokhara Football Club. After leading 1-0 in the first half at the Pokhara Stadium, the Army scored 3 more goals in the second half. Chandra Bhandari scored two goals for Army, Deepa Shahi and Hima Chaudhary scored one goal each. Two foreign players, Queenbell A. Amanara and Licia L. J. Mocambique, scored goals for Sankata.

Army will face Nepal Police in the final. Nepal Police had earlier defeated the host club 8-0 to enter the final. The final will be held on Sunday.
