New Himali Youth Club, Chilangdi, Palpa has entered the quarterfinals of the fourth New Youth Union Cup open football tournament held in Tansen on Wednesday, defeating the hosts 2-0.

New Himali's Bikal Rana and Sunil Rana scored goals in the match held in Tundikhel, Tansen. New Himali's Bikal Rana was named player of the match and received Rs 2,500 in cash, said Tam Bahadur Kumal, chairman of the organizing Youth Union.

Under the tournament, a match will be played between Manobhav Football Club, Rupandehi, and Damkada Brothers FC, Palpa on Thursday. The winner of the tournament will receive Rs 155,555 and the runner-up will receive Rs 111,111 in cash, trophy, and certificate.
