Oman defeated Nepal by 102 runs via the Doc Lewis method in a rain-affected Cricket World Cup League 2 match on Wednesday. Inspired by captain Jatinder Singh's brilliant century, Oman won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 305 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.

Nepal, in reply, scored 155 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 36.5 overs when the match was stopped due to rain, while Nepal trailed by 102 runs according to the Duckworth-Lewis method.
