Pradeep Khadka and Ayushman Ghale have reached the semifinals of the men's singles of the 12th Citizens Bank Open Tennis Tournament.

On Wednesday, Pradeep defeated Saksham Bikram Shah 6-1, 6-2 and Ayushman defeated Nihal Jung Thapa 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. In the same event, Pranab Manandhar defeated Rajbir Pradhan 6-1, 6-1 and  Darshil Shrestha defeated Pranab Khanal 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to secure their semifinals.

In the men's doubles of the tournament being held under the main sponsorship of Citizens Bank, the pair of Pradeep and Pritam Pariyar defeated the pair of Nihal Jung and Pranab Manandhar 6-3, 1-6, 7-5, while the pair of Pranab Khanal and Ayushman defeated the pair of Rajbir and Ugen Sherpa 6-3, 6-2 to set the final.

In the veteran men's singles over 35 years, former singles national champion Jitendra Pariyar, Bhishma Jung Gurung, Santosh Khatri and Dawa Sonam Sherpa have reached the semifinals. In the men's doubles of the same event, the pairs of Bhishma Jung and Gagan Maharjan, Neeraj Regmi and Ishwar GC, Santosh Khatri and Jujuman Kim and Jitendra Pariyar and Chhewang Lama have made it to the semifinals.

In the veteran men's singles over 55 years, Chandra Shahi, Uttam Bogati, Machhindra Thapa and Bimal Kumar Gurung have reached the semifinals. In the men's doubles in the same age group, Chandra Shahi and Sobit Shrestha, Sagar KC and Niranjan Shrestha, Dharma Shahi and Ashish Sigdel and Manu Tripathi and Prithviman Gurung have reached the semifinals.

In the men's singles over 45 years, Mahesh Shrestha, Dev Chhetri, Amit Singh Gurung and Rohit Sunuwar made it to the semifinals. In the men's singles over 70 years, Gyanendraman Tamrakar and Dhir Bahadur Gurung will compete for the title.
