In the women's section, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-5 and Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-19 have emerged champions in the men's section. In the women's section, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-5 defeated Ward No. 12 in straight sets of 3-0. Ward No. 5 defeated Ward No. 12 in straight sets of 25-17, 25-22 and 25-4 to win the title and Rs. 50,000. Runner-up Ward No. 12 settled for Rs. 30,000. Seven wards of Hetauda competed in the women's section. Similarly, in the men's section, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-19 stunned Ward No. 11 in a 3-2 set. Ward No. 19 defeated Ward No. 11 in sets of 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 9-25, 25-10. The final match for the men's category was very competitive. Ten wards participated in the men's category. The winner of the men's category, Hetauda-19, received 50,000 rupees, while the runner-up, Hetauda-11, received 30,000 rupees, a trophy, medal and certificate.
The winners, runners-up and the best in each category of the competition were awarded by Ward Chairman Juna Dahal of Hetauda-11, Ward Chairman Narraj Subedi of 19, Ward Chairman Sushil Ghimire of 5, the organizers and others. The competition was organized by Keshav Lal Shrestha Memorial Foundation and supported by the Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City Office. The competition was held at Huprachaur, Hetauda-4 from April 12.
