The Trishali Puja and Mela main organizing committee has stated that the competition organized on the occasion of Trishali Puja and Mela will be held from 19 to 25 Baisakh.
Eight teams will participate in the competition to be held at the playground of Prithvi Secondary School in Yasok Bazaar, the center of Kummayak Rural Municipality. According to the organizers, the teams will be divided into two groups and the game will be played on a knockout basis.
The host Yalambar Youth Organization, Kanchanjungha Sonam FC (Taplejung), Myanglung Sporting Club and Marik FC (Dharan) will compete from Group 'A'.
Similarly, from Group 'B', there will be a competition between Cana-11 FC, Red Horse FC (Ilam), Pathari-11 FC (Morang) and Panchthar FC.
The tournament will be inaugurated on 19 Baisakh between the organizers Yalambar Youth Organization and Kanchenjunga Sonam FC.
The tournament is being organized under the promotion of Kummayak Rural Municipality. The organizers say that the tournament is being organized with the aim of developing football in the district, highlighting local talent, and promoting tourism and cultural identity through sports.
