Cloud Factory defeated Ncell by 2 runs in the first match of the Taxpayer Corporate T-10 League on Monday. Cloud, who won the toss, scored 99 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 10 overs. Captain Subodh Dhungel scored an unbeaten 52, Janardan Banjade scored 19 and Ratish Shrestha scored 10 runs. Ncell's Anil Maharjan took 2 wickets, Anil Bhandari and Ankit Chhetri took 1 wicket each.
Chasing a target of 100 runs, Ncell was restricted to 97 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 10 overs. Samaj Poudel scored an unbeaten 42 and Prajwal Prajapati scored 27 runs.
Cloud's Navin Rokaya took 1 wicket and Julen Maharjan took 1 wicket each. The team also looked very impressive in the fielding department. Cloud captain Subodh Dhungel was declared the man of the match. He scored a half-century.
In the second match, Subishu defeated Sipradi by 7 wickets. Sipradi, who batted after losing the toss, scored 107 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 10 overs. Prallabhraj Shrestha scored an unbeaten 49, Yugesh Neupane scored 13 and Dipesh Shrestha scored 15 runs. Subisu's bowler Himal Chand looked impressive. He took 1 wicket for the loss of 6 runs. Neerajan Pariyar took 1 wicket.
Chasing a target of 108 runs, Subisu made an aggressive start and achieved the target in 8.1 overs. Vivek Kumar Yadav scored 35 and Daman Chand scored an unbeaten 39 runs. Bishnu Dhamala scored 2 runs for the team to win. Prallabhraj Shrestha of Sipradi took 2 wickets. Shailendra Nepal took 1 wicket. Subisu's Daman Chand was declared the 'Man of the Match'.
Similarly, ICFC Finance won by 94 runs over Taxpayer. ICFC scored 144 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 10 overs. Subhash Bhandari scored 50, Somesh Yadav scored 39 and Santosh Sah scored 22 not out. Texspire's Sagun Vaidya took 1 wicket while other bowlers bowled expensive spells. Texspire was under pressure from the start. They were bundled out for 50 in 8.5 overs. Basu Nepal scored 16 runs but the other batters could not hold on.
ICFC's Santosh Sah and Somesh Yadav took 2 wickets each. Sanjog Gurung took 1 and Nitesh Tiwari took 1 wicket each. Somesh was declared the 'Man of the Match'.
