Yeti Football Club, which has been carrying out sports activities including football among the Nepali community in Melbourne, Australia, elected a 17-member new leadership under the chairmanship of Sajjan Sharma on Sunday. Yeti has been organizing the Kandel Cup Football every year and recently organized the 15th edition. 

As the club enters its 25th year, the general meeting has elected a new working committee for the upcoming term. Established in 2001, Yeti FC has also formalized preparations for the Silver Jubilee celebration, said the new president Sharma. 

The club expressed its gratitude to the working committee led by outgoing president Karna Rana for their contribution in the general meeting. Asim Pant and Gyan Shrestha have been elected as vice-presidents, Chandni Ruksan Rai as secretary, Abhiyan Pradhan as joint secretary, Bipasna Lama as treasurer, and Pankaj Lamichhane as co-treasurer in the newly formed working committee.

Similarly, the 17 members are Anamika Rai Gurung, Raj Sharma, Karna Rana, Hari Gurung, Prachan Shrestha, Bharat Rana, Neerajan Gurung, Bishan Gurung, Ukesh Shrestha, Raj Sapkota, Roshan Shrestha, Arun Shrestha, Sundar Karki, Prabin Gurung, Alan Neupane and Bianca.
