The Nepali team has left for Japan to participate in the 22nd WATA Open International Taekwondo Championship.
The competition will be held at the Ohama Arena in Osaka, Japan from April 24 to 26. The players participating in the competition are Little Bud School's Arobi Gyawali (U-9, individual poomsae), Hongau Taekwondo Dojang's Vishesh Chandra Gami (U-11, individual poomsae), Gongbu Taekwondo Dojang's Shreyan Karki (U-11, individual poomsae), and Ayusha Karki (under 49 kg, Gyorogi).
The team's head coach is Saroj Tamang (Gongbu Taekwondo Dojang) and the manager is Rushma Subedi. The team was bid farewell by Nepal Taekwondo Association General Secretary Hemant Dangi and National Sports Council member Kumar Lama Ghising.
