The team of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Jumla branch, and the team of teachers/staff of Jumla Multiple Campus Jumla played the first friendly match. In which the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Jumla branch won in two straight sets.
Lokendra Budha, President of Jumla Multiple Campus, informed that the first SWU Open Volleyball Tournament will last for three days. According to him, three matches will be played on Thursday. The first match will be between the organizer SWU and Karnali Technical Office. The second match will be between Tatopani Rural Municipality and Jumla Multiple Campus H and the third match will be between Patarasi Rural Municipality and Disaster Management Police and Patarasi Rural Municipality, according to the organizer. The competition was inaugurated by Chandannath Municipality Mayor Rajusinh Kathayat. Campus President Lokendra Budha informed that the competition was organized to introduce Jumla Campus, exchange goodwill among students and teachers through sports, and establish brotherly relations. Nine teams have participated in the competition.
The first place winner in the competition will receive a cash prize of Rs 101,101, a medal, and a certificate. The second place winner will receive a prize of Rs 51,101, a medal, and a certificate, informed President Budha.
