Nepali women's cricket team has won its second consecutive victory in the ongoing ICC Women's Challenge Trophy in Rwanda. Nepal defeated top-ranked Rwanda by 2 wickets on Wednesday. Nepal, who won the toss and elected to bat, bowled out the home team Rwanda for 88 runs in 19.4 overs. But Nepal faced a tough task in chasing the target at the Gahanga Oval 'B' in Kigali. After Rachana Chaudhary scored 3 runs in the last over, Nepal achieved the target in 19.4 overs.

Nepal, who scored 51 runs without loss in the final over, reached the final score of 86-8 before the final over. Nepal had lost 7 wickets in the last 39 balls and scored only 12 runs.

When 3 runs were needed to win in the final over, Rachana equalized the score by taking 2 runs in the second ball and hit the winning run in the fourth ball.

This is Nepal's second victory. In the previous match, Nepal had defeated Italy by 50 runs. In the previous match, Rwanda had defeated the United States by 1 run. Nepal had lost to the United States by 44 runs in the first match.

Earlier, for Rwanda, who batted first, Alice Ikuzwe scored 17, Merville Yuvase 15, Clarice Umotoniweze 13 and Rosin Irera 12 runs.
